Fuel Log with Bypass Regulator
Fuel Log with Built-in Fuel Pressure Regulator
When using a Holley style dual feed carburetor with a high pressure fuel pump, you need some kind of fuel log and a pressure regulator. So we decided to design and build a fuel log with an integral pressure regulator. Available with a dead-head or bypass style regulator.
- Large (.375" diameter) internal regulator orifice reduces flow restriction.
- Dead-head (non-return) style regulator does not require a return line back to the tank and is ideal for high pressure mechanical pumps.
- Bypass (return) style regulator is ideal for high pressure electric fuel pumps and can even be used with a fuel injection electric pump.
- Fits most dual feed Holley carburetors including 4150, 4160 and 4500 series.
- Distance between feed tubes is adjustable from 8-3/16" to 11-3/4".
- Clears manual and electric chokes.
- Clears most air cleaners including drop base.
- Anodized housing and stainless steel plunger for corrosion resistance.
- Special diaphragm allows use of gasoline and/or ethyl alcohol.
- Adjusts from 3 to 10 psi.
- Dead-Head version uses an o–ringed plunger to reduce pressure creep.
- Small in size yet works with pumps up to 300 gph.
- Fittings (-6AN and -8AN) included.
- 1/8 NPT gauge port (plug included).
Pressure Regulator for Electronic Fuel Injection
New Pressure Regulator for Electronic Fuel Injection
This bypass style pressure regulator is not just a standard regulator with a stiffer spring. Designed and built in the USA to specifically address many of the issues with other aftermarket regulators for EFI.
- Large (.375" diameter) internal orifice reduces flow restriction.
- Anodized housing and stainless steel plunger for corrosion resistance.
- Teflon o-ringed plunger helps keep fuel in the lines when the pump is off to provide quicker restarts.
- Special diaphragm allows use of gasoline and/or alcohol.
- Boost/vacuum reference for supercharged/turbo applications.
- Adjusts from 10 to 80 psi base pressure so it can be used with throttle body or port injection.
- Small in size yet works with pumps up to 180 gph (681 LPH).
- Optional mounting bracket attaches to regulator in eight possible positions.
