HOT AUGUST NIGHTS | |
A quick note from "The IT Guy" We all know that newsletters do not write themselves. So, while Robb is off enjoying his "vacation" (which I never approved), I now take the helm of the RobbMc Newsletter. I'm the RobbMc IT Guy. Hot August Nights is right around the corner, and RobbMc is in full swing prepping for the largest car event this side of the Rockies. Both Robb and Craig will be at the RobbMc Performance booth this year to answer questions and showcase RobbMc products. Stop by the booth and let them know that this ugly "vacation" issue has to stop. These incredible RobbMc products do not design themselves, nor do the parts to build them machine themselves. Help me out here. I can't seem to get through to these slackers. I'm not much of a car guy myself. Matter of fact, I think we can safely say that I have no business anywhere near hand tools of any kind. If there's no mouse and keyboard attached to it, I wouldn't even know where to start. However, car knowledge is not required to enjoy the unbelievably gorgeous rides that are beginning to appear on the streets. The level of creativity and workmanship that is generously heaped into some of the HAN rides is nothing short of astounding. Thousands of these works of art on wheels will rumble into Reno, Nevada. It's the Woodstock of hot rod events. New Products Update Last month, RobbMc Performance Products released the new fuel sending units for GM A-body cars. Currently, RobbMc is testing a prototype 1967-69 F-body fuel sending unit. Target date for market release is approximately 4-6 weeks. Also in the works is a 1970-73 F-body sending unit. Preliminary design work on a 1974-81 F-body sending unit revealed that the design complexities and the shape of the part make it extremely difficult (and costly) to make. That one is on the back burner for now. What we really need, however, is feedback. What would YOU like to see on the market in terms of fuel sending units (other than the 74-81 F-body)? Just reply to this email newsletter and let us know. Be sure to remove the entire subject line of your email reply and mention "sending unit" or something similar. — The IT Guy |
